New Delhi, Oct 10(APAC Media): Dell Technologies has launched two rugged laptops in India, with prices starting at Rs 2,65,990. The Dell Pro Rugged 14 and Dell Pro Rugged 13 Extreme target field workers in sectors such as public safety, manufacturing, transportation, oil and gas, and utilities.
The Dell Pro Rugged 14 price in India starts at Rs 2,65,990, while the Dell Pro Rugged 13 Extreme starts at Rs 3,36,990. Both models are now available, according to the company.
Dell Pro Rugged Laptops: Specifications And Features
Both laptops use Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and support Wi-Fi 7, with optional private 5G and GPS connectivity. They also feature hot-swappable batteries, allowing users to replace batteries without interrupting work. Their touchscreens support glove and water-based touch input, making them suitable for field conditions.
Dell says both models meet MIL-STD-810H standards and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 145°F. They also include the company’s Rugged Control Center software for managing device settings, GPS configurations and hardware shortcuts.
Dell Pro Rugged 13 Extreme Specifications
The Dell Pro Rugged 13 Extreme features a 13.3-inch Full HD display with up to 1,400 nits of brightness. It has an IP66 rating for protection against dust and powerful water jets and has been drop-tested from six feet. The laptop supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, a removable SSD and self-encrypting drive options.
Dell Pro Rugged 14 Specifications
The Dell Pro Rugged 14 comes with a 14-inch Full HD display in a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering up to 1,100 nits of brightness. It also supports up to 64GB of LPCAMM2 memory and features an NVIDIA RTX PRO 500 Blackwell-generation laptop GPU. A redesigned vehicle docking system with quad passthrough connections supports use in mobile work environments.
The launch expands Dell’s business laptop portfolio for organisations that need durable computing devices for outdoor operations, remote locations and demanding working conditions.
