New Delhi, Oct 19(APAC Media): Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70 5G in India, with prices starting at Rs 19,999. The smartphone features a 50MP camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G price in India starts at Rs 19,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage costs Rs 22,999. The phone will go on sale through Flipkart on October 20 at 12 noon. Eligible bank offers will bring the starting price down to Rs 17,999. Buyers can choose between Lilac Bliss and Bliss Black colours.
The Galaxy F70 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its Gorilla Glass Victus protection adds scratch and drop resistance, while the 7.5mm body and IP54 rating offer a slim design and protection against dust and water splashes.
Samsung has equipped the phone with the Exynos 1330 processor, a 5,000mAh battery and 25W wired charging. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. A 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The phone runs Android 15-based One UI 7 and supports Samsung Knox, Samsung Wallet and Circle to Search. Samsung has promised four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. Storage can also be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The Galaxy F70 5G will compete with phones such as the OnePlus N6x, which offers a 7,000mAh battery and a 120Hz display. Samsung’s model, however, has a higher-resolution AMOLED panel and a more versatile rear camera setup. Buyers will need to weigh these features against the OnePlus phone’s larger battery.
Within Samsung’s lineup, the Galaxy F70e 5G starts at Rs 18,499, while the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G starts at Rs 37,999. The standard Galaxy F70 5G sits between the two, targeting buyers looking for a Full HD+ AMOLED display, OIS camera and extended software support without moving to a more expensive model.
