New Delhi, October 20 (APAC Media): The competent authority has approved the appointment of IAS officer Rahul Hooda as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Rahul Hooda is a 2015-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre.
He has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has asked the Haryana Government to relieve him of his current duties immediately to enable him to take up the new assignment.
Jitender Yadav Gets Additional Charge in Lakshadweep
IAS Jitender Yadav, a 2010-batch officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration in Lakshadweep on an additional-charge basis.
The appointment is under the Central Staffing Scheme at the Director level and will take effect from the date he assumes charge for three years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The DoPT has directed that Yadav be informed of the appointment and asked to assume the additional responsibility.
The department has also sought intimation to the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
