Revenue from operations stood at Rs 5,689 crore, while operating EBITDA was Rs 401 crore, with a margin of 7 per cent. EBITDA per tonne stood at Rs 414, supported by higher MSA volumes with Ambuja.
ACC reported cement sales volume of 9.7 million tonnes in the second quarter of FY27, with the share of trade sales rising 7 percentage points year-on-year to 78 per cent.
Premium products accounted for 47 per cent of trade sales, up 3 percentage points sequentially, while the share of blended cement increased to 85 per cent from 78 per cent in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s Ready-Mix Concrete business recorded a quarterly volume of 1.07 million cubic metres in Q2 FY27, registering a 19 per cent year-on-year growth.
“We delivered a resilient performance in Q2 and H1 FY’27, supported by an improving sales mix and higher premium volumes. While the reported numbers are not strictly comparable due to the impact of MSA, the underlying business momentum remains encouraging, supported by our trade partners. Our growth remains trade-led, in line with our strategy, while we continue to strengthen the institutional business through a comprehensive solutions approach with a focus on value and profitability,” said Vinod Bahety, Whole-time Director and CEO, ACC Limited.
ACC expanded its cement manufacturing capacity by 3.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) during the second quarter of FY27, commissioning a 2.4 MTPA greenfield grinding unit at Salai Banwa in Uttar Pradesh and adding 1.0 MTPA of capacity at Kalamboli in Maharashtra.
The company’s green power share increased to 34.4 per cent in Q2 FY27 from 30.3 per cent a year earlier. ACC also reported a water-positive status of 5.46 times during the quarter while maintaining zero liquid discharge across all manufacturing facilities.
In its Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) business, volume rose 19 per cent year-on-year to 1.07 million cubic metres in Q2 FY27. For the first half of FY27, volume grew 18 per cent to 2.04 million cubic metres.

The merger is expected to be completed during FY27, subject to regulatory, statutory and NCLT approvals.
The company said the proposed amalgamation would simplify the corporate structure, strengthen manufacturing and logistics coordination, improve resource allocation and unlock operational synergies.
On the sustainability front, ACC’s 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment net score was revised upward to 82 from 72, while its gross score remained at 89 out of 100.
The company’s blended cement portfolio also received GreenPro and GRIHA certifications, supported by life cycle assessment and environmental product declaration-based recognition.
ACC maintained a debt-free balance sheet, with a net worth of Rs 20,680 crore and cash and cash equivalents of Rs 578 crore. It also retained its highest AAA/A1+ credit ratings from CRISIL.
