New Delhi, May 8 (APAC Media): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has assigned additional charges to two IAS officers, including IAS Pankaj Agrawal.
The move aims to ensure administrative continuity in key ministries during the temporary absence of incumbent secretaries.
As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Agrawal (1992 batch), currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Power, has been entrusted with additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Coal. He will hold the responsibility during the leave period of IAS Vikram Dev Dutt.
In a separate order, IAS Sudhansh Pant (1991 batch), Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). He will discharge this responsibility during the absence of IAS V. Vidyavathi (1991 batch).
Both officers will handle additional responsibilities alongside their existing roles during the specified period.
