Chandigarh, May 9 (APAC Media): In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred seven IAS officers. IAS Arshdeep Singh Thind (2004 batch) has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Water Supply and Sanitation.
Thind is currently serving in the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department of the state.
Other IAS Transfers include:Â
- IAS Kamal Kishore Yadav (2003 batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Forests and Wildlife Preservation. He is currently serving as Secretary, General Administration & Coordination.Â
- IAS Amit Talwar (2013 batch) has been designated as the Nodal Officer for matters relating to Drugs and Census. He was earlier serving as Managing Director, Punjab Health Systems Corporation. Â
- IAS Gautam Jain (2017 batch) has been appointed as the Managing Director, Punjab Health Systems Corporation.Â
- IAS Parminder Pal (2016 batch) Singh has been appointed as Special Secretary, Department of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training.Â
- IAS Jasbir Singh (2018 batch) has been appointed as Managing Director, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Limited in addition to his post of Additional Secretary, General Administration & Coordination.Â
- IAS Pallavi Mishra (2023 batch) appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Kalanaur.Â
The latest reshuffle in Punjab aims to strengthen governance, improve departmental efficiency, and ensure effective leadership across departments.
