Eight IAS Officers Appointed Joint Secretaries in Key Ministries; IAS D. Senthil Pandiyan Made Joint Secretary, Water & Sanitation

New Delhi, May 10 (APAC Media): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed eight IAS officers as Joint Secretaries across key ministries. IAS D. Senthil Pandiyan has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

Pandiyan is a 2002 batch officer of the Uttarakhand cadre and currently serves as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Earth Sciences, Ministry of Earth Sciences.

Other appointments are as follows:

• IAS Vijay Namdeorao Zade (2002 batch, Punjab cadre) has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence Production.
• IAS Palka Sahni (2004 batch, Bihar cadre) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. 
• IAS M. Ramachandrudu (2009 batch, Bihar cadre) appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs till August 26, 2027. 
• IAS Sandeep Rewaji Rathod (2009 batch, Tripura cadre) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Social Justtice and Empowerment up to February 23, 2030. 
• IAS Amit Kumar (2010 batch, Jharkhand cadre) has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce till May 4, 2030. 
• IAS Neha Bansal (2010 batch, AGMUT cadre) has been appointed as Additional Director General, Records Management, New Delhi. 
• IAS Prakash Rajpurohit (2010 batch, Rajasthan cadre) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence Production up to April 8, 2030.
