Tripura Govt Transfers Several IAS Officers; IAS Dr Vishal Kumar Given Additional Charge as AMC Commissioner

Agartala: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Government of Tripura has announced the transfers and fresh postings of several senior IAS officers and allocated them additional responsibilities. As per the official notification, IAS Dr Vishal Kumar, currently District Magistrate and Collector of West Tripura District, has been given additional charge as the Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation.

The list of other transfers includes:

• IAS Muhammad Sajad P., currently the Director of Skill Development, Agartala, has been shifted and appointed as the District Magistrate & Collector of South Tripura District, replacing IAS Pradeep K.

• IAS Dr Shailesh, previously holding multiple responsibilities, including Municipal Commissioner of Agartala and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agartala Smart City Ltd., has now been made Director of Industries & Commerce, Tripura, with additional charges of Director of Skill Development, Tripura Bamboo Mission, and Managing Director, TIDC Ltd.

• IAS Vivek H. B., Commissioner of Taxes, Tripura, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities, including Director of Urban Development, Commissioner of TUDA, and CEO of Tripura Jal Board.

• IAS Kuntal Das, currently Additional Secretary, Government of Tripura, RD Department, will now also hold additional charges as Director (Projects), SLMC of the RD Department, and Mission Director of Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen).
