Gurugram: Juniper Green Energy has officially announced the appointment of Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With over 15 years of experience in the power sector, Malik has been a key figure in Juniper’s growth story since joining the company in 2018. Having previously served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Malik was inducted into the Board on April 30, 2024. His elevation to CEO marks a strategic move by the company to strengthen its leadership as it seeks to expand its presence in India’s evolving renewable energy landscape.
In his new role, Malik will spearhead the company’s long-term strategy and oversee critical business functions, including operations, business development, project development, construction, and regulatory affairs. His leadership comes at a crucial time as India undergoes a rapid energy transition and expands its renewable energy capacity.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow, Malik brings a robust blend of technical knowledge and business acumen. Before joining Juniper, he held leadership roles at Orange Renewable Power and gained experience with ICICI Bank and Lanco Infratech, honing his expertise in business development, regulatory affairs, and operational strategy.
