New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the transfer and posting of 24 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers within the Delhi Police. Among the prominent changes, IPS David Lalringsanga has been appointed as the Special Commissioner of Police for two crucial units, SPUWAC (Special Police Unit for Women and Children) and SPUNER (Special Police Unit for North-Eastern Region).Â
These roles are pivotal in ensuring focused protection and support for vulnerable groups, particularly women, children and residents from the North-Eastern states.

- IPS Dheeraj Kumar – Appointed Director, Delhi Police Academy
- IPS Raj Kumar Singh – Appointed Joint Commissioner of Police, Provisioning and Logistics
- IPS Vijay Kumar – Transferred from Joint CP, DPHCL to Joint CP, Eastern Range
- IPS Umesh Kumar – Appointed Additional CP, Security
- IPS Pratiksha Godara – Transferred from Additional CP, Special Cell to Additional CP, DPHCL
- IPS Nidhin Valsan – Transferred from DCP Outer North to DCP, Central District
- IPS Rajeev Ranjan – Transferred from DCP Welfare to DCP, Rohini
- IPS V Hareshwar Swami – Transferred from DCP 5th Battalion D to DCP, Outer North
- IPS Amit Goel – Transferred from DCP Rohini to DCP, South West
- IPS Hemant Tiwari – Transferred from IFSO Unit to DCP, South East
- IPS Ravi Kumar Singh – Transferred from South East District to Economic Offences Wing
- IPS Sharad Bhaskar Darade – Appointed DCP, Traffic
- IPS Sanjeev Kumar Yadav – Appointed DCP, Crime
- IPS Kushal Pal Singh – Transferred from Traffic to DCP, Metro
- IPS Mahesh Kumar Barnwal – Appointed DCP, 5th Battalion D
