New Delhi, June 17(CXO Media): Oracle has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh State Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) to provide free training in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and data science to 3 lakh students and working professionals by 2029.
The programme aims to address the growing demand for digital talent as businesses and government agencies increase investments in AI and cloud technologies. Under the initiative, learners will gain access to more than 300 hours of training through Oracle University’s MyLearn platform.
The training curriculum will cover Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Enterprise AI, Data Science, DevOps, Oracle APEX and cloud security. Participants will also have access to certification programmes and digital badges that can be used to demonstrate skills to potential employers.
Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, has one of the country’s largest youth populations. State officials said the programme is intended to improve employability and help prepare candidates for technology-focused roles in a rapidly evolving job market.
Demand for professionals with AI, cloud and cybersecurity expertise has increased across sectors as organisations accelerate digital transformation initiatives. Industry reports have repeatedly highlighted a shortage of skilled talent in these areas, making workforce development a priority for both governments and technology companies.
Oracle said the training will be offered free of cost through UPSDM’s platform, with the goal of expanding access to industry-relevant technology education across the state over the next three years.
