Noida, June 29 (APAC Media): Key specifications of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV have reportedly surfaced ahead of its official launch on June 30, with media reports indicating multiple battery options, a claimed driving range of over 500 km, and both rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations.
According to industry reports, the all-electric SUV is expected to be offered with multiple battery pack options, including an entry-level unit of around 65 kWh and a larger 75 kWh variant on higher trims.

The different configurations are likely aimed at offering a balance between affordability, range, and performance across the lineup.
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to deliver a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge under standard test conditions, with some estimates suggesting figures in the range of 500–530 km depending on variant and driving conditions.
The model will reportedly target the growing demand for long-range electric SUVs in the Indian market.
On the powertrain front, the SUV is likely to be available in both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations.
The AWD version is expected to use Tata Motors’ electric dual-motor setup and may include a performance-orientated “boost mode†for enhanced acceleration.
The Sierra EV will be positioned between Tata’s Curvv EV and Harrier EV in the company’s electric vehicle portfolio and will compete in the mid-size premium electric SUV segment.
While official specifications are yet to be confirmed, the vehicle is expected to feature a modern digital cockpit, connected car technology, and advanced driver assistance systems.
Tata Motors is expected to formally unveil the Sierra EV on June 30, when final details including pricing, variants, and full specifications will be disclosed.
