New Delhi, August 14(APAC Media): Google has launched Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest AI model focused on coding and AI-powered tasks.
The launch comes as the company continues to keep details about its higher-end Gemini 3.5 Pro model under wraps. Google had said in July that Gemini 3.5 Pro was being tested with partners and would be released “soon”.
Gemini 3.7 Flash Focuses On Coding
Google said Gemini 3.7 Flash is designed for coding, debugging and solving software issues. It is also aimed at AI agents that can plan tasks, use software tools and complete multi-step work with less human involvement.
The model arrives only a few weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash. Google is offering Gemini 3.7 Flash at an introductory price of 75 cents per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens through the end of the year.
Google Keeps Gemini 3.5 Pro Details Limited
The launch comes at a time when Google is facing strong competition from OpenAI and Anthropic in AI coding and agent-based systems. The company has yet to announce a firm release date for Gemini 3.5 Pro.
Google’s AI strategy has also faced changes in recent months. DeepMind chief Demis Hassabis recently stepped aside from his role leading the unit, while Gemini’s original technical co-leads left the company to start a new venture.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai has defended the company’s AI strategy, even as rivals continue to move quickly in coding and AI agents.
For now, Gemini 3.7 Flash gives Google another model for developers and businesses, while attention remains on when the company’s next Pro model will arrive.
