Leading digital banking infrastructure enabler Signzy has raised Rs210 Crore (US$26 Million) from Gaja Capital and its existing investors, Vertex Ventures and Arkam Ventures, in its latest funding round.
The Bengaluru-based Fintech SaaS company claimed that it would utilise the new funding to improve its “No-code Workflow Digitalization” platform and solutions as it works to increase the adoption of its platform by a broad clientele in the banking and financial services industries.
Ankit Ratan, Ankur Pandey, and Arpit Ratan started Signzy in 2015. The company claimed that as banks and financial service providers around the world expedite their digital transformation journeys, adoption of its award-winning and patented No-code AI platform, GO, is significantly accelerating.
For its innovations, Signzy has so far requested eight US patents and nine from India. A US patent was also granted to the company earlier this year for banking in the metaverse. The business received the Best KYC Solution award at the just-completed Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai, which was put on by the Fintech Convergence Council, Payment Council of India, and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
Additionally, IFSCA has awarded Signzy an Authorisation Certificate as its FinTech partner for a unified KYC Solution and digital infrastructure for customer on-boarding. The company’s Global Digital Identity and Onboarding Platform was highlighted in front of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the recent launch of the National Stock Exchange International Financial Service Centre (IFSCA Official) SGX Connect & the India International Bullion Exchange IFSC Ltd.
IAMAI’s Most Innovative RegTech Solution Award, ASSOCHAM’s ICT Startup Awards, Technoviti Award 2020 for Video KYC, and others are just a few of the awards that Signzy has recently received for its technological advancements. Additionally, regulatory agencies including the RBI and MAS Singapore have presented Signzy awards in the past.
