Tata Consultancy Services has joined hands with AWS (Amazon Web Services) to come up with a quantum computing lab on the Amazon platform.
As per experts, Quantum computing is in its nascent stage and it will become one of the most promising technologies. According to the software major, quantum computing has the potential to help solve problems that are too difficult for classical computers to solve promptly.
The company said that the lab will be helpful for enterprises to develop and test business solutions and accelerate the adoption of quantum computing.
TCS has been investing in quantum computing research for over four years, which has already resulted in two patent filings and progress toward advancing artificial intelligence, optimisation, cryptography, and digital security.
