IAS Sudhir M Bobde becomes Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor in UP bureaucratic reshuffle

Lucknow: In an administrative rejig, the government in Uttar Pradesh has transferred 6 IAS officers. Transfers include a commissioner and two district magistrates.

A 1997 batch IAS officer and Divisional Commissioner of Devipatan Mandal, Mr Mahendra Prasad Agarwal, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary of Higher Education Ministry.

2005 batch IAS officer and Basti Commissioner Yogeshwar Ram Mishra, was made the new Commissioner of Devipatan.

A 1990 batch, IAS Sudhir M Bobde was made Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor. While his batchmate, Ms Kalpana Awasthi, was removed from the Raj Bhavan. She has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary in Technical Education.

A 2003 batch IAS and Commissioner of Saharanpur, Mr Lokesh M will be the new commissioner of Basti after Yogeshwar Ram Mishra.

Dinesh Chandra, a 2012 batch IAS who was serving as DM Bahraich, has been made DM of Saharanpur. IAS Akhilesh Singh has been transferred from Saharanpur. While 2010 batch IAS Monika Rani has been made DM Bahraich.
