New Delhi: Right after the results of 5 state assembly elections, the winter session of Parliament will commence. The Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has informed this on Monday. “Winter Session, 2023 of Parliament will commence from 4th December and continue till 22nd December having 15 sittings spread over 19 days. Amid Amrit Kaal is looking forward to discussions on Legislative Business and other items during the session,” he said.
On the other hand, on 3 December, the results of five state (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana) assembly elections will be declared.
Important bills such as appointment of the chief election commissioner and election commissioners and others may be taken up during the winter session of Parliament.
