Mumbai: In a major administrative reshuffle in Maharashtra, the state government undertook the transfer and posting of 8 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
- IAS Asheesh Sharma, of 1997 batch, has been appointed as the Commissioner of State Tax (Goods and Services Tax). Sharma previously served as the Principal Secretary to the current Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
- IAS officer Pravin Puri, from the 2011 batch, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Persons with Disability in Pune. Puri was formerly the Joint Secretary of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department.
- IAS officer Deepak Tawde, has been designated as the Commissioner of Employees’ State Insurance Scheme. Tawde previously served as the Chief Managing Director of Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation.
- IAS officer Vikas Pansare, has been posted as the Additional Divisional Commissioner of Konkan Division, transferring from his prior designation as the head of the Caste Verification Panel in Ahmednagar district.
- IAS officer Bhausaheb Dangde, from the 2011 batch, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Maharashtra Petrochemical Corporation Limited.
- IAS officer Aman Mittal, from the 2015 batch, formerly the Managing Director of Maharashtra Petrochemical Corporation Limited, has been posted as the Deputy Secretary in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department.
- IAS officer Indurani Jhakhar, of 2016 batch, will now serve as the Corporation Commissioner of Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.
- IAS officer Shridhar Dubey, from the 2014 batch, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Cooperative Marketing Federation in Mumbai.
