Bhopal:Â The government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the transfer of 9 IAS Officers in an ongoing bureaucratic reshuffle.
IAS Sukhveer Singh (1997 batch) has been appointed as the state’s Chief Electoral Officer. He was last posted as the Principal Secretary in the Horticulture Department.
The list of other transfers includes:
- IAS Anupam Rajan (1993 batch) has been reinstated to the post of Principal Secretary in the Department of Higher Education. He last served as the state Chief Electoral Officer and presided over the 2023 assembly polls and the 2024 Lok Sabha election.Â
- IAS Amit Rathore (1996 batch) will take the additional charge of Principal Secretary of the Finance Department. He also holds the post of Principal Secretary in the Department of Commercial Taxes.
- IAS Ravindra Singh (2004 batch) who is currently the Commissioner-cum-Director of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection has been made Secretary in the MP government.Â
- IAS Shriman Shukla (2007 batch) has become the Commissioner of the Shahdol Division.Â
- IAS Sibi Chakravarthy (2008 batch) will be the new Commissioner-cum-Director in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection. He is currently the Managing Director of the Metro Rail Corporation Limited and Secretary of the Transport Department.Â
- IAS Rishi Garg (2013 batch) will take charge as Member Secretary of the State Planning Commission and Commissioner of the Economics and Statistics department. He is presently posted as the Deputy Secretary in the MP government.
- IAS S Krishna Chaitanya (2013 batch) will be the new Managing Director of the Bhopal Metro Rail Corporation.
- IAS Avil Prasad (2014 batch) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Employment Guarantee Council.
