Amaravati: The Government of Andhra Pradesh under an administrative reshuffle has transferred 16 officers of the Indian Police Service. According to the official notification, IPS Fakeerappa Kanigelli (2011 batch), previously the Joint Commissioner of Police Visakhapatnam, has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police for the Intelligence unit. He will be replacing IPS Babujee Attada (2011 batch) who has been transferred to the Police Headquarters.
Other notable transfers include:
IPS Vineet Brijal (2001 batch), previously the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Special Investigation Branch (SIB), has been appointed as IGP for the Crime Investigation Department (CID).
IPS M. Ravi Prakash (2006 batch) will serve as the new IGP (P&L).
IPS P.H.D. Ramakrishna has been assigned the post of IGP, Intelligence.
IPS R.N. Ammi Reddy (2009 batch) has been posted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police (Administration) at the DGP office.
IPS Ch. Vijaya Rao has taken charge as the DIG for Road Safety.
IPS Siddharth Kaushal has become the Additional Inspector General (AIG) for Law and Order at the A.P. Police Headquarters.
IPS D. Mary Prasanthi will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order-II) in Visakhapatnam city, replacing Tuhin Sinha, who moves to Anakapalli as Superintendent of Police.
IPS Anakapalli SP M. Deepika has been reappointed as the Commandant of the APSP 3rd Battalion in Kakinada.
IPS G.R. Radhika will be the Principal of the Police Training College in Ongole, succeeding K.V. Srinivas Rao, who has been transferred to the A.P. Police Headquarters in Mangalagiri.
IPS K. Arif Hafeez will take charge as the Superintendent of the Intelligence Security Wing (ISW)
IPS K.S.S.V. Subba Reddy, previously holding the post of Regional Vigilance and Enforcement Officer in Rajahmundry, will now be serving as the SP of the Police Transport Office.
IPS K. Tirumaleswar Reddy is set to take over as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crimes) in the NTR Police Commissionerate.
