Patna: As part of the ongoing administrative reshuffle in the state, the Bihar Government has once again transferred several senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. IAS Anand Kishore, Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Committee, has been given the additional post of Principal Secretary in the Finance Department. As per the notification of the General Administration Department, Kishore will relinquish his additional duties as Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department and Managing Director of the Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
Additionally, the list includes the following eminent transfers:
IAS Lokesh Kumar Singh has been transferred to serve as Secretary of the Rural Development Department, with an additional responsibility as Secretary of the Tourism Department. Previously, he served as the Secretary of the Finance Department.
IAS Abhay Kumar Singh, last posted as the Secretary of the Tourism Department, has been posted to the Urban Development and Housing Department. He will also take up additional roles, including Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department and Managing Director of BELTRON and Patna Metro Rail Corporation.
IAS Dipak Anand, currently holding the position of Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary of the Labour Resources Department.
IAS Shirshat Kapil Ashok has been transferred from his current role as Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation to lead the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited.
IAS Niles Ramchandra Deore will take on the role of Special Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat Department. He is currently the Managing Director of North Bihar Power Distribution Company.
IAS Dr. B. Rajendra, who held the additional post of Principal Secretary of the Labour Resources Department, has been relieved of this additional charge.
