Bhubaneswar: In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Odisha has assigned new postings to three officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
As per the official notification of the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, IAS Manoj Kumar Sahoo (2006 batch), has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister (CM). The move follows the approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for Sahoo’s inter-cadre deputation to Odisha for a period of three years. Sahoo originally belongs to the AGMUT cadre and was previously serving as the Deputy Election Commissioner in Delhi. He has previously held several leadership positions including District Magistrate in Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman, and as Collector in West Siang and Kurung Kumey districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Additionally, Sahoo has worked as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation in Delhi, where he played a crucial role in the success of the Har Ghar Jal program.
Besides Sahoo, the following two officers have been assigned fresh postings:

IAS Bishnupada Sethi (1995 batch) has taken charge as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department. Before this, Sethi was serving as the Principal Secretary in the Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department and the ST & SC Development, Minorities, and Backward Classes Welfare Department.

IAS Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra (1997 batch) has been made the Principal Secretary for the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, replacing Sethi.
