Secunderabad: Bank of Baroda, a leading public sector bank in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Central Railway (SCR) to provide a comprehensive salary package for over 85,000 employees. The benefits will be extended to SCR employees across six states: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. The MoU was signed in the presence of senior officials from South Central Railway and Bank of Baroda. This collaboration underscores the bank’s commitment to providing tailored financial solutions to government employees.

Benefits under the Initiative
The MoU offers enhanced personal accident insurance coverage, free Hospicash facilities, and special offers on retail loans, debit cards, and credit cards. Unique add-on benefits include reimbursement for girl child marriage (aged 18-25), higher education cover, and transportation of imported medicines. Employees will also receive personal accident insurance of up to Rs. 1,25,00,000 for on-duty accidental death and Rs. 1,00,00,000 for off-duty incidents. A group term life insurance facility of Rs. 10,00,000 is also included in the package.

Extended Benefits for Retired Employees
The package is not limited to active employees. Retired employees up to 70 years of age can avail of these benefits, provided their pensions are routed through the Baroda Government Employee Salary Account. The facility will be offered in line with the bank’s guidelines.
