Telangana:Telangana has signed an MoU with US-based Tillman Global Holdings to establish a Rs 15,000 crore data center facility in Hyderabad. The announcement, made during the World Economic Forum in Davos, underscores the state’s growing focus on building digital infrastructure.
Investment Details
The proposed 300 MW facility will serve hyperscale clients and support advanced technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and large-scale data processing. It will incorporate energy-efficient systems and robust cybersecurity measures to align with global data center standards.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Minister for Industries and Legislative Affairs D. Sridhar Babu, and Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Industries, ITE&C. Representing Tillman Global Holdings was Sachit Ahuja, the company’s president.
Focus on Hyderabad’s Digital Infrastructure
According to D. Sridhar Babu, the investment reflects Telangana’s efforts to create an enabling environment for international technology investments. The state has been consistently positioning itself as a hub for data center development due to its infrastructure and policy frameworks.
Sachit Ahuja remarked that Telangana’s combination of infrastructure readiness and workforce talent makes it an attractive destination for such large-scale projects.
