Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has issued the transfers and new posting orders of 5 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers following the recent urban body and panchayat elections in the state. As per the official notification, IAS Abhijit Singh (2012 batch) has been appointed as the Collector of Durg.
Other Transfers Include:
IAS Avinash Mishra (2018 batch) – Assigned as Collector of Dhamtari; previously Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation.
IAS Vishwa Deep (2019 batch) – Appointed as Raipur Municipal Commissioner.
IAS Kumar Vishwas Ranjan – Named as Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Zila Panchayat.
IAS Rena Jameel (2019 batch) – Given additional charge as Deputy Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industry, alongside her role as Secretary, Public Service Commission.
Additionally, the outgoing Collectors of Durg and Dhamtari, IAS Richa Prakash (2014 batch) and IAS Namrata Gandhi (2013 batch), have been relieved for central deputation.
The General Administration Department issued the transfer orders, with Deputy Secretary Anvesh Dhritalhare signing the official notification. The government has termed these transfers as a routine process, primarily necessitated by the central deputation of two IAS officers.
