Bhopal: In a major administrative reshuffle, the government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the transfers and fresh postings of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As per the official notification, IAS Neeraj Kumar Singh (2012 batch), currently serving as Ujjain’s Collector, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Bhopal. IAS Roshan Singh, former Collector of Vidisha, will replace Kumar as the new Collector of Ujjain.
Other key transfers include:
- IAS Subhash Kumar Dwivedi (2012 batch), previously the Collector of Ashoknagar, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department.
- IAS Aditya Singh (2014 batch) has been transferred from Harda and appointed as the new Collector of Ashoknagar.
- IAS Anshul Gupta (2016 batch ), currently Director of the Public Relations Department and Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam, has been made the new Collector of Vidisha.
- IAS Siddharth Jain (2018 batch), currently the Additional Collector of Bhopal, has been made the new Collector of Harda.
- IAS Jyoti Sharma (2018 batch), Additional Collector, Indore, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District Panchayat, Dewas.
- IAS Himanshu Prajapati (2018 batch), presently the CEO of Dewas District Panchayat, has been transferred and posted as the Executive Director of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Indore.
Apart from these transfers, 3 IAS officers have been assigned additional charges:
- IAS Gulshan Bamra, currently the Principal Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department, has been given the additional responsibility of Chief Officer at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Institute, Bhopal.
- IAS Ashish Singh, presently the Collector of Indore, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Mela Officer for the Simhastha Fair in Ujjain, alongside his current duties.
- IAS Rishi Garg, the Member Secretary of the State Planning Commission and Economic and Statistics Commissioner, has been given additional charge as Director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Good Governance and Policy Analysis Institute.
