Thiruvananthapuram: The government of Kerala has announced the appointment of five newly inducted Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS Anu S Nair, to fresh roles across various departments.
As per the official notification by the Kerala government, IAS Anu S Nair (2020 batch) has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary in the Revenue Department and will also hold the full additional charge of Director of the Institute of Land and Disaster Management.

- IAS Hima K (2019 batch) has been made the Managing Director of the Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited, working under the Health and Family Welfare Department. This post has been declared equivalent in rank and responsibility to that of a Deputy Secretary.Â
- IAS Arun J. O. (2020 batch) has taken charge as the Director of the Backward Classes Development Department in a newly created ex-cadre post. In addition, he will serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the Wayanad Township Project, assisting the Special Officer appointed for the initiative.
- IAS Rejil M. C. (2020 batch) has been appointed as the Director of the Animal Husbandry Department.
- IAS Sabin Sameed (2020 batch) has been posted as the Director of the Social Justice Department and will hold the full additional charge of the Executive Director of the Kerala Social Security Mission.
These appointments aim to strengthen administration and improve public service delivery in Kerala.
