Punjab Govt Transfers Three Senior IAS Officers; IAS DK Tiwari Made ACS, Transport

Chandigarh: The government of Punjab has announced the transfers and fresh postings of three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS DK Tiwari.

According to the official notification by the Punjab government, IAS DK Tiwari (1994 batch) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Transport. In addition, he has been given charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Department. 

The list of other transferred officers includes:

• IAS Kamal Kishor Yadav (2003 batch) has been given charge as the Administrative Secretary of the Industries and Commerce and Investment Promotion Department. His new assignment comes after over a month without a posting.
• IAS Varun Roojam (2004 batch) has been made the Administrative Secretary of the Transport Department.

These transfers aim to enhance the administrative efficiency in the state in different departments.
