Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has issued orders reassigning several IAS officers to new roles across various departments. The administrative reshuffle aims to enhance efficiency and streamline governance in key sectors.
As per the official notification, IAS Sharmila Mary Joseph, who is currently serving as the Principal Secretary of Local Self-Government, has been given additional responsibility for the Women and Child Development Department.
Other Notable Transfers Include:
IAS Mohammed Hanish A.P.M. – Principal Secretary of Industries; given additional charge of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department.
IAS K. Vasuki – Secretary of Labour and Skills; will also oversee Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Museum (Zoo) departments.
IAS T.V. Anupama – Special Secretary, Local Self-Government; relieved of her additional charge in the Revenue (Devaswom) Department.
IAS Mir Mohammed Ali – Director of Industries; appointed as Special Secretary, Ports, and relieved from his previous additional charge in Agriculture.
IAS Abdul Nasar B. – Transferred as Special Secretary, Fisheries, with additional charge of Minority Welfare.
IAS D. Sajith Babu – Registrar of Cooperative Societies; given additional responsibilities as Special Secretary, Revenue (Devaswom), while being relieved from Animal Husbandry.
IAS P.B. Nooh – Special Secretary of Transport; appointed as Chairman of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, with Aswathy Srinivas as its Managing Director.
IAS Gopalakrishnan K. – Assigned as Managing Director of the Vytilla Mobility Hub Society and Kerala State Construction Corporation.
IAS Meera K. – Sub-Collector, Fort Kochi; given additional charge as District Development Commissioner, Ernakulam.
IAS Safna Nazarudeen – Labour Commissioner; appointed as Director, Fisheries Department, as an additional responsibility.
