Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As per the official notification, IAS Shubhankar Pratyush (2022 batch) has been posted as the Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
Pratyush previously served as the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Uri.
Consequently, IAS Prince Kumar (2023 batch) has been appointed as the new SDM of Uri. He was earlier posted as the SDM of Kokernag.
The transfers have been carried out to improve administrative efficiency and governance in the union territory.
