Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has reshuffled two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and assigned them key roles. Accordingly, IAS Abhishek Jain (2002 batch) has been given additional charge as the Secretary of the Technical Education department.
Jain currently serves as the Advisor (Regulatory Reforms) in New Delhi as well as Secretary, Finance, Planning, Economics & Statistics department.
Meanwhile, IAS Sandeep Kumar (2010 batch), previously serving as the Settlement Officer for Kangra Division, has been appointed Divisional Commissioner of Kangra Division, with headquarters in Dharmshala.
This reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency in the key departments of the state.
