Bengaluru, 9 Apr, (CXO Media): Mandar Ghatnekar has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Biocon. The move comes as the biopharmaceutical company strengthens its enterprise technology and digital systems to support expanding operations.
Ghatnekar steps into the role after serving as Global Head of IT and Digital Transformation at Biocon Biologics. In that position, he led enterprise IT programmes and digital initiatives supporting manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain operations across the biosimilars business.
Biocon continues to scale its global operations, increasing reliance on integrated IT systems to manage regulatory requirements, production processes, and cross-border supply chains.
Ghatnekar brings over two decades of experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation. He has previously held leadership roles at Accenture and Johnson & Johnson, where he worked on IT strategy, cloud systems, and large-scale technology deployments within healthcare and life sciences environments.
As Chief Technology Officer, he will oversee Biocon’s enterprise IT strategy and infrastructure, with responsibility for aligning technology systems with research, manufacturing, and commercial operations.
