Lucknow, Apr 21, (APAC Media): The Uttar Pradesh government has reshuffled 24 IAS officers, changing District Magistrates in 10 districts.
In the latest administrative move dated April 20, the state reassigned District Magistrates across several districts, including Ayodhya, Barabanki, Ghazipur, Ambedkar Nagar, Etah, Hapur, Aligarh, Banda, Farrukhabad and Sonbhadra. The reshuffle is part of a wider bureaucratic reorganisation carried out over two consecutive days.
Among the major changes, Aryendra Kumar was shifted from Ghazipur to Aligarh, while Arvind Singh was appointed District Magistrate of Etah. Amit Awasthi took charge as District Magistrate of Banda, and Dr Anuj Lathar was posted as District Magistrate of Farrukhabad. Kavita Meena was assigned as District Magistrate of Hapur, while Isha Priya was appointed District Magistrate of Ambedkar Nagar. Chandra Gaur moved to Sonbhadra as District Magistrate, and Anupam Shukla shifted from Ambedkar Nagar to Ghazipur. Shashank Tripathi was transferred from Barabanki to Ayodhya, and Gyan Pratap Singh was appointed District Magistrate of Barabanki.
The reshuffle followed another late-night transfer order issued a day earlier, in which 40 IAS officers were reassigned across districts including Unnao, Sultanpur, Shamli, Amroha, Hamirpur, Mainpuri, Auraiya, Saharanpur, Agra, Bulandshahr, Lakhimpur Kheri, Fatehpur, Jhansi, Shravasti and Raebareli. Key appointments included Arvind Kumar Chauhan as District Magistrate of Saharanpur, Nitin Gaur in Amroha, Abhishek Goyal in Hamirpur and Nidhi Gupta Vats in Fatehpur.
