New Delhi, June 9(CXO Media): Dr. Tathagat Varma has been appointed as Vice President and Head of the Global Capability Centre (GCC) for India at Ralph Lauren.
In his new role, he will oversee the development and scaling of Ralph Lauren’s India GCC. His responsibilities will include strengthening technology delivery, improving operational frameworks, and supporting global business functions through the India centre.
He brings over three decades of experience in technology leadership and enterprise transformation. Before joining Ralph Lauren, he worked with Walmart Global Tech and Walmart Global Tech India, where he led large-scale engineering and platform initiatives supporting global operations.
He has also held senior roles across companies including NerdWallet, Chinasoft International, Yahoo!, NETSCOUT Systems, Huawei, McAfee, Philips, Siemens, and DRDO. Across these organisations, he has been involved in building global engineering teams, setting up capability centres, and driving digital transformation programs.
His appointment highlights Ralph Lauren’s continued expansion of its global capability centre strategy in India, as multinational companies increase investment in offshore technology and operations hubs.
