Maharashtra Govt Reshuffles 3 IAS Officers; IAS P Velrasu Appointed Additional Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA 

Mumbai, June 24 (APAC Media): The Maharashtra government has carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in key departments. IAS officer P Velrasu has been appointed as  Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). 

Velrasu is a 2002 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre.

Other IAS Transfers are as follows: 

• IAS Sanjeev Kumar (2003 batch), Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL), has now been appointed as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department at Mantralaya. 

• IAS Vikram Kumar (2004 batch) has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director of MSETCL. Earlier, he was serving as Additional Metropolitan Commissioner at MMRDA in Mumbai. 

The Maharashtra Government’s General Administration Department (GAD) issued the transfer order on June 22.
