New Delhi, June 24(CXO Media): London-based technology company Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 4b will launch in India on July 7, 2026, adding a new device to its smartphone portfolio as competition intensifies in the mid-range smartphone market.

The company shared the launch date through its social media channels and also released a teaser sketch of the upcoming device. The image suggests that the Phone 4b will retain Nothing’s transparent design language while featuring a simplified rear camera setup. The launch event is scheduled for 4:00 pm IST.

The Phone 4b is expected to become the new entry point into Nothing’s ecosystem. Earlier, Nothing Co-founder and India President Akis Evangelidis indicated that the B-series would be positioned below the existing A-series smartphones. This places the upcoming device in a more affordable segment than the current Nothing Phone 4a, which starts at Rs 31,999.

The teaser has also fueled speculation that Nothing may phase out its “Lite” branding and replace it with the new B-series lineup.

While Nothing has not officially disclosed specifications, multiple leaks suggest the Phone 4b could feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also rumored to be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor or MediaTek’s Dimensity 7450 Pro chipset.

Reports further indicate support for LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, specifications commonly seen in the upper mid-range smartphone category.

Nothing has not announced pricing details. However, based on the company’s positioning strategy, the Phone 4b is expected to be priced below the Nothing Phone 4a. Market estimates currently place the device in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 price segment, where brands such as Samsung, Vivo, Realme and iQOO are actively competing.

With the launch now confirmed, attention will shift to whether Nothing can use the new B-series to strengthen its presence in India’s highly competitive mid-range smartphone market.
