New Delhi, July 15(APAC Media): Fortinet has expanded its endpoint security platform with new AI-focused capabilities as enterprises look for better ways to manage the growing use of AI applications in the workplace.
The update adds AI visibility, data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint risk scoring and AI-assisted security operations to FortiEndpoint.
The latest release allows IT and security teams to monitor AI applications and AI agents running on employee devices from a single console. Organizations can identify unauthorized AI tools, track usage patterns and apply policies to allow, restrict or block applications based on internal security requirements. The platform also introduces native DLP capabilities that inspect sensitive information shared with AI applications to help prevent the exposure of personal, financial and intellectual property data.
Fortinet has also integrated AI-assisted security operations into the platform. Security teams can use natural language prompts to investigate incidents, review endpoint risks and receive policy recommendations. In addition, dynamic endpoint risk scoring enables organizations to make real-time access decisions based on a device’s security posture, supporting zero-trust security strategies as AI adoption continues to grow across enterprises.
