Noida, Aug 31 (APAC Media): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday said policy stability, transparent decision-making and speed in governance have helped the state emerge as a preferred investment destination, as he invited global investors to participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027.
“Policy stability, transparent decision-making and swift governance create a conducive environment for attracting investment,†Patel said while addressing the curtain raiser of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 (VGGS-2027) at Bharat Mandapam here.
Patel urged investors and business leaders to join Gujarat’s growth journey, saying investments should fuel development, industries should create jobs and innovation should help strengthen India.

The Chief Minister said the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, launched in 2003 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has today become a symbol of the trust of the global industrial and investor community in Gujarat and a platform for knowledge sharing.
“Gujarat has translated the mantra of ‘Je Kehvu Te Karvu’ into action on the ground through the Vibrant Summit,†Patel said, referring to the state’s development journey.
He said Gujarat’s development model was not limited to physical infrastructure and industrial growth.
“The Gujarat Model goes beyond roads, electricity, water and industries. Gujarat has created an ecosystem that offers investors not only land and infrastructure but also policy stability, speed, transparency, skilled manpower, trust and security,†Patel said.
“Gujarat’s strong business culture, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt to changing times have created significant opportunities for investors, particularly in emerging sectors such as green hydrogen, data centres and semiconductors,†Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said.
The chief minister said Gujarat, after demonstrating its strength in traditional industries, was now preparing to lead in future-orientated sectors.
VGGS-2027, themed “Viksit Gujarat – Shaping Global Futureâ€, will focus on emerging sectors including semiconductors, fintech, artificial intelligence, green hydrogen, green growth and soft power, he said.
Patel said VGGS-2027 would help give fresh momentum to the Prime Minister’s Saptadhara development vision, with Gujarat drawing on its strengths in manufacturing, diamonds, agriculture, technology, Gati Shakti, defence production, the green and blue economy and cultural soft power.
“The VGGS-2027 marks 25 years of Gujarat’s continuous development and reflects the state’s new aspirations for the future,†Patel said.
He also said Gujarat was at the forefront of attracting foreign direct investment in the country and was gearing up for the next phase of industrial growth.
