Udaipur, 26 August (APAC Media): The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and the renewable energy industry.
The partnership will focus on developing specialised teaching cases, advanced academic research, executive education programmes, and targeted policy advocacy. It will also provide students with opportunities for internships, consulting assignments, and live industry projects, enabling them to gain practical exposure to the renewable energy sector.
According to IIM Udaipur, the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advance knowledge, leadership, and innovation in the renewable energy sector and create meaningful impact for young professionals.
The agreement comes as SECI continues to expand its engagement with academic and policy institutions. Last month, the renewable energy agency signed an MoU with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) to collaborate on policy research, market design, and knowledge exchange aimed at supporting a clean, reliable, and affordable electricity sector.
