New Delhi, September 25 (APAC Media):Â The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched the Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) Platform, an integrated system that allows consumers to view and verify the digital connectivity ratings of properties.
The platform supports the framework under the TRAI (Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity) Regulations, 2024, as amended in 2026, along with the Rating Manual 2026 issued by TRAI.
The DCR Platform brings Property Managers, registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs) and consumers onto a common digital interface.
Property Managers can register public, government, commercial and private properties, submit applications, upload documents, select DCRAs and track the rating process.
Registered DCRAs can conduct assessments of constructed and under-construction properties, record connectivity test results, manage documents and complete the rating process. The platform also supports assessment, report generation, certification and publication of ratings.
A dedicated DCRA mobile application will enable authorised agencies to conduct in-building connectivity measurements. The platform also supports eSign, online fee payments, alerts and secure storage of property records, certificates, test results and audit logs.
Consumers can search rated properties by name, certificate ID or location, view ratings and digitally signed certificates, and verify certificates through QR codes.
TRAI Chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti said the platform will provide consumers with credible, comparable information on property connectivity and encourage developers to plan digital connectivity infrastructure at the appropriate stage.
