West Bengal Reshuffles 11 IAS Officers; Pawan Kadyan Made Senior Special Secretary, Finance

Kolkata, September 11 (APAC Media): In a latest bureaucratic reshuffle, the West Bengal government has transferred 11 IAS officers. IAS Pawan Kadyan has been appointed as the Senior Special Secretary in the Finance (Budget) Department.

Kadyan currently serves as the Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamp Revenue, with additional charges of Director of Treasuries and Accounts and Director of Pension, Provident Fund, and Group Insurance. He will continue to serve in these roles along with his new post.

Other appointments include

IAS Anoop Kumar Agrawal, who was serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Textiles Department, has been relieved of his role from the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. He will continue to serve as ACS, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department.
IAS Surendra Gupta, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department and LRC, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. Gupta will, however, continue to hold additional responsibility as Principal Secretary, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department and LRC.
IAS Onkar Singh Meena, who was serving as Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Fire and Emergency Services.
IAS Devi Prasad Karanam, who was serving as Secretary in the Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department.
IAS Dipankar Mandal, who was serving as Director, Transport under the Transport Department in the rank of Senior Special Secretary, has now been posted as Senior Special Secretary, ARD Department.
IAS Shiraz Daneshyar, who was serving as Special Secretary, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Agriculture Department.
IAS Hrishikes Mudi, who was serving as Special Commissioner in the rank of Special Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary, West Bengal Commission for Women.
IAS Arindam Dutta, who was serving as Special Commissioner in the rank of Special Secretary, Food and Supplies Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Social Welfare Department.
