Kerala’s first Integrated Command Control & Communication Center (ICCCC) launched by Cochin Smart City. This has been done under Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs’ ‘Smart City Mission.’

This is India’s 48th ICCC. ’32 more in advanced stage of inauguration,’ said Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India.

Experts opine that various IC4s have helped cities to tackle corona crisis in effective manner in recent months.

‘ICCCs have been of utmost importance during the COVID 19 times. They have made availability of services to citizens convenient and at their disposal during lockdown and have helped in collecting, tracking & monitoring quarantined citizens, households to control spread of infection,’ added Mishra.

Various initiatives being implemented Cochin Smart City Ltd will be monitored by the state’s first IC4.
