ISRO is offering courses on remote sensing and GIS technology and its applications especially for teachers in India
ISRO is offering courses on remote sensing and GIS technology and its applications considering the capacity building requirement that is growing in these domains in India. The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been conducting NNRMS-ISRO sponsored training programme primarily for the faculty members of the university including affiliated colleges since 1994. Along the same lines, applications have been invited from teachers for the initiative.
