Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) has appointed Kiran Dutt as the Vice Chairman of its Low-Voltage (LV) Switchgear Division. His appointment comes ahead of his rich and vast experience spanning over 26 years in this industry. Currently, Kiran is the President of Electrification Business at ABB India Ltd.
With this additional responsibility at IEEMA, Kiran will be providing his leadership, sharing knowledge and expertise for benefitting the overall fraternity of the Electrical and allied Industry, further strengthening the foundation, and functioning of LV switchgear industry through IEEMA.
Kiran has demonstrated a history of working in the electrical manufacturing business and stands strong with deep-rooted understanding of the industry and extensive knowledge about both local and global markets. With great passion for digitalization coupled with a keen drive for innovation, Kiran makes for a visionary leader in creating effective and efficient electrification solutions for a myriad of businesses. IEEMA LV Switchgear division focuses on Quality Control Order (QCO), preparation of guidelines, test labs availability, raw material availability, CPRI acceptance outside India and validation of the type test reports catering to end-user segments such as manufacturing, commercial and residential buildings, infrastructure entities, agriculture, utilities and OEMs. Kiran’s appointment at IEEMA is a testimony to his leadership, proven track record of driving change and transforming business with his strong values and belief systems. ABB India has been associated with IEEMA since 1968.
