Modivcare, one of the largest managers of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) in the US, has announced the opening of Modivcare Labs in Bengaluru.
The $2.3 billion technology-enabled healthcare services company targets the social determinants of health (SDoH) by providing critical patient transportation, remote patient monitoring, meal delivery, and personal in-home care to 34 million patients, or nearly 10% of the US population.
The Modivcare Labs centre of excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru will create world-class digital platforms and applications to help the most vulnerable and underserved US patient population access quality, life-saving care. In Bengaluru, this will be accomplished by leveraging emerging technologies in data science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT), telematics, blockchain, and big data to create innovative, digital services for patient transportation, meal delivery, and in-home care. These rigorous intellectual exercises are carried out at Modivcare Labs in order to give patients with on-time performance and a rich user experience.
To develop these advanced, digital technology-enabled services, Modivcare Labs in Bengaluru will need to recruit local, top-tier talent. Approximately 200 positions in digital platform development and support will be available to applicants with advanced degrees in engineering and science, as well as extensive experience serving as senior engineering leaders, data scientists, senior software developers, and architects in the Java stack and Python stack, React, Angular, and Native App developers. Quality Assurance automation testers focused on automation, ServiceNow developers to improve workflows and automation, Network Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Sr. NOC and SOC analysts to keep systems highly available and reliable, and Product managers to improve product features and capabilities are all part of this team.
