Ahmedabad: Intas Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Dr. Pramod Kharwade as the Vice President of Formulation and Development. He brings more than 23 years of expertise in formulation research and development and has a proven record of delivering and submitting more than 100 generic products.
Sharing the news of his appointment, Dr. Kharwade stated, “I am excited to lead Instas’ formulation Research and Development, accelerating key projects while ensuring top-quality excellence and compliance across all manufacturing operations.”
Before joining Intas Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Kharwade was associated with Biocon for five years as an Associate Vice President. In that capacity, he spearheaded innovative formulation initiatives and streamlined the project management process. Previously, Dr. Kharwade held senior roles such as General Manager and Senior Principal Scientist at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as Deputy Manager and then as Associate Director, where he focused on formulation development and project management. Earlier in his career, Dr. Kharwade worked as a Research Scientist at Ranbaxy where he laid the foundation for pharmaceutical innovation.
