Dharamshala: Dharamshala Smart City has announced that the city will soon welcome 15 e-buses. This is a pilot project developed between HRTC and Dharamshala Smart City Limited Company.
The initiative which comes under the smart city limited will introduce 15 e-buses, with one for HRTC’s fleet. Nine of the ten charging stations that were to be installed have been set up already. EV owners will now have access to these stations.
This move will address the traffic and pollution problem while also providing services to congested regions. The e-buses will be flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mukesh Agnihotri, who is also the Minister In-charge of the Transport Department.
