New Delhi: Mercedes-Benz plans to launch four new electric vehicles (EVs) in India in the next 8-12 months to speed up its initiatives in electric mobility.
Further, the company expects to drive sales volume in India to 25 percent from EVs in India by 2027. The new vehicles will bolster its EV portfolio in the Indian market which currently comprises EQS, EQB, EQC and EQS AMG models.
India is the fifth largest market for Mercedes-Benz, and the strategic move is likely to increase the potential to upgrade its ranking in the next two years
