Chandigarh: IAS officer J Ganesan has been appointed as the Managing Director of Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. (HAFED) and Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (HARTRON). He is an IAS officer from Haryana cadre and 2006 batch. He was awaiting posting after returning from a year long study leave.
HAFED works in procurement, distribution, and marketing of agricultural produce, while HARTRON is responsible for promoting and implementing information technology and electronics-based projects in Haryana.
Ganesan had earlier held the positions of Director of Secondary Education Haryana, Special Secretary to the Government in the Haryana School Education Department, and Chief Administrator of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board.
