Lucknow: After transferring many IAS officers in last few days, the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has transferred and posted 2 IAS officer on Wednesday night.
Aides-de-Camp (Aide to Governor – ADC) to UP Governor and 2019 batch IPS officer Akash Patel has been transferred and attached to the DGP headquarters.
While 2020 bath IPS Puneet Dwivedi has been appointed as new ADC to the Governor of the state, Anandiben Patel. Mr Dwivedi was posted in Aligarh as Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Anandiben Patel has been serving as governor of UP since 2019.
It is worth mentioning here that ADC has a major role, who works to enhance the dignity of Raj Bhavan.
There are two Aide-de-Camps one from Police and the other from the Army. All the works related to the Governor’s tour to internal security is the responsibility of the ADCs. The ADCs also supervise the functioning of Raj Bhavan’s Garage, Raj Bhavan Telephone Exchange and the Reception.
